  • Our Iiyama Mountain Farm Distillery is situated in the mountainous far northern reaches of Japan's Nagano Prefecture. The area is known for its fierce winters and heavy snowfall, followed by a hot summer climate.

  • This rich procession of the seasons, paired with a deep farming tradition, allows our spirits to take their distinct character in a clean, rural setting.

Kiyokawa Gin

Selected botanicals and pure mountain water come together in our Award-Winning Japanese Gin, celebrated for its soft mouthfeel and pleasant, complex creaminess. Winner of the 2024 Global Gin Masters Award.

  • Wildflowers blossom and nutty aromas. Candied Yuzu. The fragrance is both intense and refined.

  • Soft mouthfeel, yet there is a potpourri of Japanese botanicals flavours and traditional ones. A pleasant complex creaminess.

  • The finish is long, vibrant with sweet-savory notes.

Yamagiri Vodka

Our Vodka pays homage to Iiyama’s long-standing tradition as a rice-farming town. The result of the meticulous work of Kiyokawa’s Team Master Distillers. Rich and elegant with character, and delightfully smooth for a 47% ABV with a velvety texture.

  • Fresh and intensely smooth with an oily, viscuous texture. Clean nose with an immaculate finish reminiscent of mountain water.

Cask Ownership

The Kiyokawa Ownership Cask Heritage Investment (KOCHI) is pleased to offer select individuals the opportunity to purchase a limited number of handcrafted casks of Japanese Single Malt Whisky. The Whisky in our Iiyama Mountain Farm Distillery cask is borne of rich malted barley, pure spring water and a distinctive copper pot still. The spirit will mature in the finest oak casks, breathing the clean mountain air through the changing of the seasons.
